Mercedes-Benz Data Migration

Infinium Technologies announced that it successfully completed a full Power 8 migration for Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA), as well as migrated their servers to new data centers. The 10 month project involved migrating over 140 TB of storage and over 500 servers from old legacy hardware to IBM Power 8.

LADWP Power7 Migration
Atlanta, GA. March 17, 2014

Infinium Technologies announced today that it successfully completed a full Power 7 migration for the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP), the nation’s largest municipal utility, providing water and electric service to Los Angeles. The four week project involved migrating over 20 TB of storage and over 60 servers from old legacy hardware to IBM Power 770s.

Royal Caribbean Data Center Migration

Infinium Technologies announced today that it successfully completed a full Power 7 migration for Royal Caribbean (RCCL), a leading provider of cruise lines that sail to the most popular destinations in the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, South America, Far East, Australia and New Zealand. The twenty-four month project involved migrating over 200 TB of storage and over 500 servers (including applications, databases) for old legacy hardware to IBM Power 795s. At the same time RCCL reduced data center foot print with Power7 Virtualization and completed a full Disaster Recovery (DR) site implementation.
